Apply to Wayne State University - Apply and be accepted to the University through Undergraduate Admissions. Prospective students should complete WSU application (all application materials submitted) at least one month prior to Department of Music audition date.  2. Submit a Department of Music Application by the deadline for the semester you wish to begin. You will receive further instructions on how to complete your audition once the application is approved. 3. Complete a Live Audition or Submit Audition Recording. Upon approval of your Department of Music Application, auditioning students will receive instructions for an in-person audition or how to submit a recorded audition on a principal instrument or voice. For audition requirements for the various programs please visit our Audition Requirements page. Live Auditions: When participating in a live audition, you will complete your Audition, Theory Placement Test, and participate in interviews (if required by your program) on your audition day. We highly encourage this option.Recorded Auditions: Students who choose to submit a recorded audition must complete a Zoom Sightreading test, Zoom Theory Placement Test, and Zoom interviews (if required by your program). The department will contact you to schedule these sessions after your application is approved. DLAR hands-on training: Mice

Event Details: Prerequisites:1) IACUC pre-training: CITI on-line and ANICON submission.  This session will cover basic handling. All personnel handling or performing procedures on live mice are required to attend. This session will cover handling, restraint, basic injections (SQ/IP) and humane euthanasia.  Evaluation of technique to establish competency will determine if additional sessions will be required.  Individuals must pass this session if being added to an approved animal use protocol.
