Event Details: Join celebrated journalists Nolan Finley and Stephen Henderson – the faces of The Civility Project – for an interactive, eye-opening program about civility. At this event, public and private sector leaders will convene to identify and discuss strategies for cultivating more civil and constructive dialogues. Celebrated journalists Nolan Finley and Stephen Henderson will talk about how to build healthy disagreement and constructive dialogue and how to build civility into various public settings.  This panel discussion will feature local leaders talking about the need for and power of collaboration in today's world. Panelists Include: Mayor Bryan Barnett, City of Rochester Hills Mr. Dave Bing, Former Detroit Mayor Ms. Maureen Donohue Krauss, President and CEO, Detroit Regional Partnership Dr. Ora Hirsch Pescovitz, President, Oakland University Facilitator: Dr. David Dulio, Distinguished Professor of Political Science and Director of the Center for Civic Engagement, Oakland University Thanks to our sponsors for their generosity and support for this important program.

CREATIVE CRAFTING: Sweet Home Embroidery

Event Details: Do you enjoy embroidery?  Are you able to thread a needle, tie a knot and do some basic sewing stitches?  Then bring your most creative self, and we'll have fun together!
