Event Details: Join the Spice of the Month Club to try new spices! Members will receive a sample packet of each month's spice, two recipes that feature that spice, and a little bit of history. Spices can be picked up starting the Second Monday of each month from the front desk on a first come, first serve basis. Supplies are limited. Event Details: Prerequisites:1) IACUC pre-training: CITI on-line and ANICON submission. This session will cover basic handling. All personnel handling or performing procedures on live mice are required to attend. This session will cover handling, restraint, basic injections (SQ/IP) and humane euthanasia. Evaluation of technique to establish competency will determine if additional sessions will be required. Individuals must pass this session if being added to an approved animal use protocol.

Event Details: The process of fermentation was discovered independently by various cultures around the world. The earliest evidence of alcoholic beverages was found in China, dating from around 7000 BCE.This exhibition explores material culture emerging from the production and imbibing of grain-based alcoholic beverages, generally known as beer and spirits. Featured artifacts related to drinking are from Asia, Africa, and South America as well as North America and Europe and include Zulu beer pots, Peruvian chicha vessels, Swedish beer mugs, as well as items from Prohibition-era Detroit.Schedule 🗓️Beginning March 25, gallery hours will be Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 5 to 8 p.m. Hours are subject to change based on university schedule and volunteer availability. The exhibit will be up through fall 2024. The Grosscup Museum is free and open to the public in room 1227 of Old Main. The Gordon L. Grosscup Museum of Anthropology is pleased to host multiple exhibitions per year to engage our students and the public in the breadth of research within the field of anthropology.

Event Details: The CBHJ is offering two monthly Q&A sessions with AOT expert Scott Smith, Ph.D. This is an open forum for anyone in any part of the system of care to have direct access to a consultant and have their questions answered. Questions can be about a particular case, about processes, troubleshooting system issues, or anything else that has to do with AOT. Hospital staff, inpatient facility staff, CMH or CCBHC staff, law enforcement officers, families and advocates are all welcome to drop in and get the answers they need.
